    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Pratice Builder to expand our Roadway practice in Santa Clarita, California (CA)! </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Expand our practice and presence in the local market focused on roadway, large infrastructure and/or municipal projects</li>\n <li>This position is responsible for complex engineering design tasks as well as marketing, client engagement, and the growth of the roadway design practice in local and/or surrounding markets</li>\n <li>Managing the design and delivery of projects profitably while being actively involved in design issues</li>\n <li>Leadership responsibilities include:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Operating with integrity and sound business principals</li>\n   <li>Providing vision, business planning and strategy</li>\n   <li>Establishing goals</li>\n   <li>Building and maintaining positive client relationships</li>\n   <li>Having open communication with your partners and team</li>\n   <li>Growing and leading a roadway practice</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Our Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor</li>\n <li>The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business</li>\n <li>With success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownership</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>15+ years of relevant experience managing roadway projects</li>\n <li>Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license</li>\n <li>Experience successfully winning and delivering work in the local and/or surrounding areas</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience with the full life cycle of roadway projects</li>\n <li>Experience and relationships with local agencies and/or local municipalities</li>\n <li>Knowledge in the civil design of local roadways, urban freeways and/or interchanges</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to manage roadway projects profitably, while leading a team and collaborating key stakeholders</li>\n <li>Experience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Base Salary Range: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>$150,000 - $260,000</li>\n <li>Eligible for performance-based bonus compensation</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why Kimley-Horn?</h2>\n<p>At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
