We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with Forest Patrol Services, Inc. based in Saint John, New Brunswick with a summer field rotation in Boston Brook and Juniper, New Brunswick . Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: Test and troubleshoot aircraft mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems to identify and address problems Adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures Ensure the work accomplished on any aircraft or component, complies with: o The applicable manufacturer’s recommended standards o Canadian Aviation Regulations o Company Policies and Procedures Complete all work orders, check sheets and records accurately and in accordance with regulatory procedures and/or manuals Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Maintain an organized, clean and safe work environment, reporting any potential hazards Flexibility to work shift work and overtime, as well as ability to work away from Saint John, New Brunswick during Summer season field assignments Qualifications Experience & Qualification Requirements: A minimum of 3 years aircraft maintenance experience Valid TCCA M1 and/or M2 AME license in a recognized discipline Experience with Air Tractor 802, Airbus H125, Daher Kodiak 100 and Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines are assets Experience in Line Maintenance in a fast-paced environment Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Proven technical aptitude - Ability to work on complex assignments requiring considerable judgment, initiative, and technical knowledge Valid Canadian Driver's License with a clean abstract Ability to hold an airport RAIC pass Ability to climb, kneel, and crawl frequently in tight spaces Ability to lift 50 lbs./22 kgs Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment Valid Canadian Passport and the ability to travel across international borders for training and conferences as required
