We are looking to increase the visibility of our experienced transportation and highway group in Pennsylvania. The team player will succeed with past experience working on PennDOT and/or PA Turnpike Commission projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising CM/CI staff, monitoring budgets and schedules, marketing new projects, preparing proposals, and interfacing regularly with clients. Project Management consulting experience, in-depth background in construction of highways and roads, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Will lead the development of a CM/CI Department in Pennsylvania.  </li>\n <li>Will work closely with Dewberry’s Pennsylvania Managers and will ensure that proper contract adherence and inspection requirements are met; attend/conduct project control meetings; document work progress; monitor construction quality and safety; and will work as an extension of our client.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This includes;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Leading pursuit positioning activities to win new work with both new and existing clients</li>\n <li>Mining work thru existing on call contracts and or leveraging existing client contacts</li>\n <li>Actively engaging our existing local, regional and national resources in support of these efforts</li>\n <li>Recruiting and building a team to deliver CM/CI work as backlog grows</li>\n <li>Working with our Dewberry CM/CI team to enhance the growth and visibility of that group</li>\n <li>Managing our CM team to be responsive to our client’s project needs</li>\n <li>Preparation of daily, weekly and/or monthly reports</li>\n <li>Prepares, maintains and secures contract records including correspondence, contractor documents, meeting minutes, daily inspection reports, specifications, non-compliance notices, etc.</li>\n <li>Reviews construction procedures submitted by contractors to assure conformance with overall project plan</li>\n <li>Verification of compliance with construction bid and design documents</li>\n <li>Submittal coordination and review of materials of construction, equipment, schedules, installation means and methods and operation and maintenance requirements</li>\n <li>Resolves field construction issues and provide recommendations</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Skills & Required Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. </li>\n <li>PE and/or CCM preferred</li>\n <li>15+ years of Construction Management and Construction Inspection experience</li>\n <li>Experience with inspection services on bridges, roadways, transit and other transportation and intermodal facilities (Previous PennDOT, PTC, DRPA, SEPTA, DRJTBC, and Local Government (FAM) experience is preferred.)</li>\n <li>Certifications in ACI, PennDOT concrete, NECEPT bituminous, NICET lll or lV are preferred</li>\n <li>Experience with ECMS, CDS NeXtGen or CDS-V3</li>\n <li>Strong communications skills, ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, and ability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations</li>\n <li>Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains</li>\n <li>Ability to repetitively stoop, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 25 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes, in addition to ability to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid drivers licenses and clean driving record</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Don’t meet every single requirement?
