Employee ownership fosters an entrepreneurial spirit, encourages technical expertise, and shapes strategic planning. </p>\n<p>KCI is currently ranked #50 on Engineering News-Record’s list of the Top 50 design firms in the nation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>KCI BENEFITS INFORMATION</strong></p>\n<p>We offer a competitive compensation package, family friendly benefits, a collaborative working environment, and the training, mentoring and resources you need to advance in your career.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We understand that you have choices, and we know that together we will make a great team!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>KCI is committed to building a diverse and inclusive staff, and we encourage women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and individuals with disabilities to apply.</em></strong></p>\n<h2>Duties, Responsibilities & Other</h2>\n<p>KCI Technologies is hiring a Senior Designer to join our Land Development team in Raleigh, NC</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Civil Engineering design and calculations for site grading, erosion and sedimentation control, water, wastewater, and stormwater components of Land Development projects.</li>\n <li>Participates in technical studies, AutoCAD-based design, preparation of specifications, and technical plans.</li>\n <li>Permitting applications and processing.</li>\n <li>Construction administration support including field observation reports.</li>\n <li>Scheduling and preparation of project cost estimates and schedules</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</em> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong technical and professional communication skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent time management skills.</li>\n <li>Proficient in AutoCAD, and Civil 3D experience required</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a team environment on multiple assignments</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education and/or Work Experience Required:</p>\n<p>• Requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or GED, 9 years with an Associate's Degree, or 8 years with a Bachelor's Degree.</p>\n<p>• Proven experience in field technician roles, with a track record of successful completion of assigned projects.</p>\n<p>• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</p>\n<p>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.</p>\n<p>• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to quality assurance and safety protocols.</p>\n<p>• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.</p>\n<p>• Strong knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD.</p>\n<p>• Experience with Microsoft Suite; Photoshop and Google Earth</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Education and/or Work Experience Preferred:</p>\n<p>• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>• Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.</p>",
