This role provides subject matter expertise, drives process engineering deliverables, and leads multidisciplinary coordination efforts to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant EPC project execution.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will bring strong technical leadership, deep process engineering expertise within power generation environments, and experience leading complex engineering scopes from concept through commissioning.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<p><strong>Project Execution</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead process engineering scope across all project phases including: </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Feasibility studies </li>\n  <li>Conceptual design </li>\n  <li>Detailed engineering </li>\n  <li>Procurement support </li>\n  <li>Construction support </li>\n  <li>Startup and commissioning </li>\n </ul>\n <li>Serve as the primary process engineering point of contact for assigned projects </li>\n <li>Develop, review, and approve: </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Process design basis documents </li>\n  <li>Equipment lists </li>\n  <li>Line lists </li>\n  <li>Tie-in schedules </li>\n </ul>\n <li>Lead preparation and review of equipment datasheets, technical specifications, and procurement packages </li>\n <li>Manage process discipline scope, schedules, deliverables, and risk identification activities </li>\n <li>Coordinate closely with clients, OEMs, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain project alignment </li>\n <li>Support project planning, estimating, and execution strategy from a process engineering perspective </li>\n <li>Employee may be required to visit job sites, field offices, and customer locations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>System Design</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform site-wide heat and mass balance calculations to determine plant net power output and heat rate performance </li>\n <li>Lead the design and optimization of balance-of-plant systems including: </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Demineralized water treatment systems (RO, CEDI, mixed bed) </li>\n  <li>Closed cooling water systems </li>\n  <li>Service water and auxiliary systems </li>\n  <li>Instrument and plant air systems </li>\n  <li>Chemical dosing systems </li>\n  <li>Wastewater handling systems </li>\n </ul>\n <li>Perform and review advanced engineering calculations for: </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Hydraulic analysis </li>\n  <li>System sizing </li>\n  <li>Process performance optimization </li>\n </ul>\n <li>Specify and evaluate equipment including: </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Pumps </li>\n  <li>Compressors </li>\n  <li>Vessels </li>\n  <li>Tanks </li>\n  <li>Heat exchangers </li>\n </ul>\n <li>Lead material selection decisions based on process conditions, corrosion considerations, and chemical compatibility </li>\n <li>Oversee development of emissions estimates supporting air permitting activities for: </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Gas turbines </li>\n  <li>Duct burners </li>\n  <li>Auxiliary boilers </li>\n  <li>Emergency engines </li>\n </ul>\n <li>Coordinate with environmental consultants regarding: </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>SCR/CO catalyst systems </li>\n  <li>Ammonia slip limits </li>\n  <li>Emissions compliance requirements </li>\n </ul>\n <li>Provide critical process engineering input for: </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Noise studies </li>\n  <li>Wastewater discharge permitting </li>\n  <li>Secondary containment and drainage design </li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Drawings & Technical Leadership</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee development and approval of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and validate heat and mass balance accuracy </li>\n <li>Lead development, review, and approval of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), ensuring proper: </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Control philosophy </li>\n  <li>Safety systems integration </li>\n  <li>Operability considerations </li>\n </ul>\n <li>Facilitate HAZOP reviews, constructability reviews, and operability assessments </li>\n <li>Coordinate process deliverables with piping, instrumentation, electrical, structural, and mechanical engineering disciplines </li>\n <li>Establish and enforce process engineering standards, best practices, and quality control procedures </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Leadership & Mentorship</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and development support to junior and mid-level engineers </li>\n <li>Review and approve engineering work to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project standards </li>\n <li>Support resource planning, staffing coordination, and workload distribution within the process engineering team </li>\n <li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned across projects </li>\n <li>Support business development efforts including proposals, technical presentations, and client meetings as needed </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<p><strong>Education, Certifications & Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited university </li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred and may be required depending on project requirements </li>\n <li>Minimum 8+ years of relevant process engineering experience within: </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Power generation </li>\n  <li>Chemical processing </li>\n  <li>Industrial EPC environments </li>\n </ul>\n <li>Demonstrated experience leading process engineering scope on complex projects </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills & Competencies</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong expertise in power generation systems including gas turbines and combined-cycle facilities </li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of process simulation and hydraulic modeling software including: </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>GT Pro </li>\n  <li>PIPE-FLO </li>\n </ul>\n <li>Proficiency with AutoCAD Plant 3D / P&ID and related engineering design systems </li>\n <li>Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, regulations, and engineering best practices </li>\n <li>Ability to lead multidisciplinary coordination and resolve complex technical challenges
