environments.<br> <br>We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Metocean Engineer to join our survey team.<br> <br>This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in offshore metocean wind energy services business.<br> <br><strong>The Role</strong><br><strong> </strong><br>This role is suited to an experienced offshore metocean professional who is comfortable leading mobilisation and servicing campaigns across a wide range of coastal and offshore environments.<br> <br>The role will involve offshore travel predominantly in the UK and Europe, but also further afield as we expand globally.<br> </span><ul><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">Leading as party chief on project mobilisation and servicing of the range of metocean equipment including seabed moorings, wave buoys, our own floating LIDAR systems (V-LiDAR), in addition to fixed installations such as wave radars, tide gauges and met stations.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">Leading and coaching metocean engineers to deliver safe, technically robust and successful site operations.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">Experienced in the practical delivery of technical projects, including equipment knowledge, and experience of the deployment of metocean instrumentation in coastal and offshore locations.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">Experience of working from various platforms such as ports/quays/small workboats/multicats/anchor handling vessels/offshore installations etc.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">Leading the preparation of project documentation in line with legislation, industry best practice, client requirements and our own exemplary standards.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">Completion of accurate survey operation reports to a high standard.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">Producing and reviewing QHSE documentation.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">Contributing to the improvement of QHSE systems, survey operations and the technical capabilities of the metocean teams.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">Excelling in communication with clients and subcontractors.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">Systematic and methodical approach with a fine attention to detail.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">Ability to work to strict deadlines in an often fast-paced environment.</li></ul><span style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\"> <br><strong>About You:</strong><br><strong> </strong><br>To succeed in this role, you will combine strong offshore operational experience with effective leadership and communication skills.<br> <br>You will have practical experience delivering offshore metocean projects and be confident leading teams in challenging marine environments.<br><strong> </strong></span><ul><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">Highly experienced in project mobilisation and servicing of oceanographic equipment.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">Experience in lifting operations onshore/offshore.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">Clear and confident communicator.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">An engaging leadership style with experience in coaching others.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">Educated to level 5 or above in science, engineering, electrical or mechanical disciplines / degree educated in an oceanographic related discipline.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">A working knowledge of data loggers, instrument interfaces with satellite / GSM telemetry systems and the range of oceanographic equipment.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent).</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">A high level of professionalism.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">Full UK driving licence (manual).</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">A keenness to travel, predominantly in the UK and Europe, but also further afield.</li><li style=\"color:rgb(255,255,255);\">You will be flexible and adaptable due to the changing working patterns, allied to vessel and weather
