    "description_html": "<p><b>Summary/Objective</b></p><p>The Incoming/In-Process Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all purchased materials, components, and equipment received by meet company, customer, and industry quality requirements prior to being released for production or shipment. This role serves as the primary quality gatekeeper for incoming materials, with a strong focus on documentation review, material traceability, and non-conformance management.</p><p>This position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance Quality Management System (QMS), applicable codes and standards, and customer specifications.</p><p><b>Essential Functions</b></p><p>Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The essential functions include, but are not limited to:</p><p><b>Incoming Inspection & Verification</b></p><ul><li>Perform visual inspection and evaluation of purchased components and materials upon receipt.</li><li>Verify materials against purchase orders, drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.</li><li>Perform shipment verifications and load-outs of both complete units and loose shipments.</li></ul><p><b>Documentation & Traceability</b></p><ul><li>Review and evaluate product certifications and documentation, including Material Test Reports (MTRs).</li><li>Verify that certifications match applicable specifications and ensure materials are properly identified and marked.</li><li>Enter approved MTRs into the system and maintain full material traceability records.</li><li>Serve as the gatekeeper of all material certifications and quality documentation.</li></ul><p><b>Non-Conformance & Quality Control</b></p><ul><li>Initiate and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for non-conforming materials or components.</li><li>Support root cause investigations and corrective actions as required.</li><li>Review materials when issued to jobs to ensure compliance prior to production or processing.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Shop Support & Cross-Functional Coordination</b></p><ul><li>Assist with shop inspections, quality data collection, and data entry.</li><li>Act as a liaison between Purchasing and Suppliers regarding material quality, certifications, and discrepancies.</li><li>Communicate quality issues clearly to internal stakeholders including Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Quality.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications & Skills</b></p><ul><li>Prior experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Knowledge of or certification in inspection methods such as:</li><li>RT (Radiographic Testing)</li><li>PT (Liquid Penetrant Testing)</li><li>MT (Magnetic Particle Testing)</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to use metrology tools and measuring devices, including:</li><li>Calipers</li><li>Tape measures</li><li>Scales</li><li>Proficient in basic shop math.</li><li>Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document findings clearly and professionally.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Work Environment</b></p><p>This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role uses standard office equipment. Regular trips to the shop and warehouse for observation and research are also required.</p><p>When in the manufacturing facility, all employees are required to wear personal protective equipment to include/hearing protection, and safety glasses with side shields. Protective toe boots are not required when employees are in designated walkways in the plant.</p><p><b>Physical Demands</b></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</p><p>While performing duties of this job, the person in this position frequently communicates with employees and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee constantly must remain stationary for long periods of time, while operating a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets and operate office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine and laminator.</p><p>The employee might occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.</p><p>Regularly, may be required to visit the shop that is a non-temperature-controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles that are usually associated with metal fabrication shops.</p><p>Occasionally visit customer sites to evaluate projects, which may require moving above, below, over and around stationary objects. Some sites may have space limitations which, may make movement while installing, adjusting, or repairing equipment and parts difficult. These customer sites may potentially be hot, cold, or loud.</p><p><b>Position Type/Expected Hours of Work</b></p><p>This is a full-time position.
