Your work will directly support clinical teams in delivering high-quality care to patients at a leading academic medical center.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Key Responsibilities</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Patient Care</span>: Position and immobilize patients for imaging exams, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Image Quality</span>: Review radiographs to ensure high-quality images before submission to the radiologist.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Exam Processing</span>: Accurately order, track, and charge exams using the HIS/RIS system.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Collaboration</span>: Work closely with radiologists to obtain \"wet readings\" and assist with film processing and CD creation upon request.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Maintenance</span>: Maintain clean and functional work areas and equipment.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Prioritization</span>: Manage urgent exam orders to ensure efficient workflow and timely results.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p>To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Required</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">ARRT</span> (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">IEMA</span> (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) certification</li>\n<li>2 to 3 years of undergraduate education or equivalent</li>\n<li>At least <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">1 year of relevant work experience</span> in radiology, with familiarity in imaging procedures and practices</li>\n<li>Ability to lift up to <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">50 pounds</span> and push/pull up to <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">50 pounds</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Preferred</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in a <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">surgical or operating room environment</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">What We Offer</span></p>\n<p>We are dedicated to supporting your professional growth and well-being.
