In this role, you’ll work with different groups across the company to solve problems, dig into root causes, and maintain documentation.<br><br><strong>How you will make an impact:</strong><ul><li>Maintain a fleet of medical devices (including all relevant test equipment) to designated design configurations</li><li>Work with various departments on the program to solve problems and find solutions</li><li>Must be able to create and maintain documentation using current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)</li><li>Conduct failure and root cause analysis of product and document findings in a project database</li><li>Perform and document inspections of medical devices and their components according to company plans and procedures</li><li>Perform and document periodic verification on test and calibration fixtures in accordance with established procedures to support medical device functional testing</li></ul><strong>Skills needed to be successful in this role:</strong><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical field</li><li>Minimum associates degree in any engineering discipline preferred</li><li>Electro-mechanical aptitude, the ability to diagnose problems and see the solutions through to completion</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing</li><li>Computer skills must include the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)</li><li>Must have the ability to understand and follow established manufacturing Operating Procedures (OP) in the service process, and work within a Quality Management System (QMS)</li><li>Familiarity with JIRA or similar system</li><li>Ability to utilize tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, and other measurement equipment</li></ul><strong>About DEKA:</strong><br>One hour from the beach, Boston, and the mountains, the historic Amoskeag Millyard once housed the largest textile mills in the world.
