    "description": "<p>Our Patient Financial Services team is looking for a Billing Specialist to join them! This position will also help in Customer Service/Collections of accounts. The Patient Financial Services Billing Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate insurance claim processing. He/she ensures accurate and complete information appears on the UB-92, 1500 claim forms or in the electronic billing system. He/she forwards bills to the proper payer within time constraints of the department and payer.<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours: Monday - Friday </span><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">8:00AM - 4:30PM</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> This position is onsite in Reedsburg WI </span></span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Duties:</span></span><br>Works Epic work Queues daily<br>Works all edits<br>Completed correspondence <br>Follows up on all rejections and files remittances<br>Handles all phone calls and written correspondence relating to insurance companies, patient and co-worker questions.<br>Complete routine follow-up on all insurance claims <br>Completes T-19 adjustments <br>Corrects Medicare Ip and OP claims in FSS<br>Reads and stays current on Medicare and other insurance memos <br>Maintains accuracy and productivity to meet job requirements. <br><br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education and Training Required: </span></span><br>High school graduate or equivalent <br>At least three years of experience in a hospital business office, claim filing, and medical terminology <br><br><br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Special Skills:</span></span><br>Mathematical ability required<br>Basic computer knowledge <br>Excellent Customer Service skills <br>Ability to use photocopies, 10-key calculator, personal computer and fax machine<br><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits: </span></p>\n<p>RAMC offers an extensive benefits package to meet the needs of our employees and families.</p>\n<p>We are committed to fostering a supportive and balanced work environment that encourages professional growth and personal well-being.
