    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Tests and inspects product at various stages of production process and complies and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of product.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitors sanitation and proper sanitation procedures.</li>\n <li>Inspects processing equipment to ensure it’s completely sanitized prior to running production.</li>\n <li> Monitors specific processes assigned for each product, i.e., quality (grade), weight control, etc. </li>\n <li>Records test data applying statistical quality control procedures.</li>\n <li>Maintains and files test data records.</li>\n <li>Assists Production Dept. in meeting company specifications and government regulations.</li>\n <li>Notifies production supervisor and QC manager if samples are out of grade.</li>\n <li>Performs analysis for enzyme deactivation (Peroxidase/Catalyse).</li>\n <li> Checks and records blancher temperatures and retention time.</li>\n <li> Checks chlorine concentrations in waste line at chiller, sprayers, residual, etc.</li>\n <li> Checks and records net/drained weights.</li>\n <li> Checks scales to ensure calibration (accurate weight and balance).</li>\n <li> Inspects packaging, labels and coding to ensure compliance with customer specifications.</li>\n <li> Adheres to all company and facility policies, work rules, and procedures.</li>\n <li> Will don personal protective equipment (PPE) before commencing work.</li>\n <li> Follows all safety guidelines set forth by the Company.</li>\n <li><strong>Performs other duties as assigned.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION: </strong>High school diploma or equivalent</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in food quality assurance or related field preferred, but not required.</li>\n <li>Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and statistical analysis preferred, but not required.</li>\n <li>Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>LANGUAGE: </strong>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules/signs, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>",
