Our Talent is proud to work here. </p><p><br/></p><p>JOB SUMMARY:  </p><p>The Tan Tan Pool Server is responsible for providing prompt, efficient, courteous, professional beverage and food service while ensuring all guests' needs are met and their expectations are exceeded. </p><p>Requirements</p><p> JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: </p><ul><li>Delivers quality products to the guest in a friendly and professional manner and accordance with hotel standards. </li><li>Performs all opening and closing duties as listed on side work assignment sheet. </li><li>Answers all questions regarding the menu accurately. </li><li>Takes food and beverage order accurately and in a timely fashion and enters in the computer. </li><li>Handles financial transactions accurately and in accordance with established procedures. </li><li>Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability.  </li><li>Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Record transaction in system at time of order.  </li><li>Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages. Pick-up trays and clean tables as needed to ensure a clean dining area. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day.  </li><li>Maintain cleanliness of work and guest areas by clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to proper area.  </li><li>Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment. </li></ul><p>SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: </p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required </p><ul><li>One + years’ experience as a pool server in high volume, luxury hotel or resort environment. </li><li>Thorough knowledge of food and beverage terminology and service techniques. </li><li>Exceptional guest services skills. </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills </li><li>Basic computer skills, and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend and lift trays weighing up to 25 pounds repetitively during entire shift. </li><li>Able to work a flexible schedule to include mornings, afternoons, evenings,?weekends and holidays </li><li>Current California food handler card and responsible beverage service certificate or ability to obtain within first 30 days of employment. </li></ul><p>QUALIFICATION: </p><p>Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the safety or health of employee or others. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
