    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Set up and operate surface grinding machines</li>\n <li>Grind precision parts to required tolerances and surface finish specifications</li>\n <li>Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and engineering drawings</li>\n <li>Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools</li>\n <li>Select and dress grinding wheels and tooling as needed</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot Machining and dimensional issues</li>\n <li>Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment is operating properly</li>\n <li>Maintain quality standards and follow all safety procedures</li>\n <li>Support production goals and maintain an organized work area</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Education &amp; Experience</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years of surface grinding and precision machining experience</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of grinding processes, tooling, and materials</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li>\n <li>CNC grinding experience is a plus</li>\n <li>High school diploma or GED required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Skills</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to read blueprints and work with tight tolerances</li>\n <li>Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment</li>\n <li>Knowledge of GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manufacturing or machine shop environment requires prolonged standing, lifting, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to stand for extended periods</li>\n <li>Lift materials up to 50 lbs.</li>\n <li>Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Safety Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<p>All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
