This role works closely with development and product teams to validate functionality and improve overall product reliability. The position is suitable for individuals who are building foundational skills in software testing and quality assurance.</p>\n<p><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Review business and functional requirements to understand application functionality and testing needs.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and design specifications.</li>\n <li>Execute manual and/or automated tests including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.</li>\n <li>Identify, document, and track defects and issues using defect tracking tools.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with project manager, developers, and QA team members to clarify requirements and resolve issues.</li>\n <li>Perform regression testing to validate bug fixes and ensure existing functionality is not impacted.</li>\n <li>Prepare and maintain test documentation and quality reports.</li>\n <li>Ensure adherence to quality standards, testing processes, and best practices.</li>\n <li>Participate in agile or scrum team activities, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.</li>\n <li>Maintain all company information as confidential.</li>\n <li>Perform&nbsp;other related duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Comply with all NOV Company and HSE Policies and Guidelines.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>6 months to 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright or Test Complete.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of scripting/programming languages (Python, C# or Typescript).&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, test and defect management tools.</li>\n <li>Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience in API testing tools preferred.</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience with PLC technologies preferred.</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience with IEC 61131-2 programming languages would be an asset.</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience in networking and communications would be an asset.</li>\n</ul>",
