The company develops Specs, advanced eyewear that seamlessly integrates digital experiences into the physical world.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Specs feature see-through lenses that place digital objects directly into three-dimensional space, powered by Snap OS, a proprietary, context-aware operating system designed for natural interaction with your hands and voice.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Specs Inc. also provides Lens Studio, a full suite of advanced developer tools that powers immersive augmented reality experiences across Specs, Snapchat, and other services.</span></p><p></p><p><span><span>We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the Spectacles team!</span></span></p><p></p><p><span><span>What you’ll do:</span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Own schematic design, component selection and stackup definition for boards from concept to final deliverable</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Design in complex SOCs, PMICs, Wireless ICs and sensors used in low-power consumer electronics</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Simulate and AC and DC power distribution networks and define impedance masks</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Lead and contribute to technical design reviews</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Supervise and review layout for PCB, Flex, and Rigid Flex designs</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Debug hardware issues with cross-functional teams such as desense, power states, signal integrity, ESD and EMI</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Analyze circuit parasitics and tolerances to ensure correct operation over the specified voltage and temperature range</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Test and validate all board level and systems level aspects of electrical designs</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, RF, thermal and industrial design teams</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Author clear and comprehensive electrical test documentation</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Develop electronic prototypes for new product concepts</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Support development builds onsite at external contract manufacturers</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Travel internationally up to 20%</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><span>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and understanding of best practices</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience in electronic design, including component selection, schematic design, and familiarity with schematic capture and layout tools such as </span></span><span>Cadence Allegro and OrCAD Capture</span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Proficiency in design of battery operated systems including chargers, fuel gauges and battery protection circuits</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience working with various communication interfaces such as USB, I2C/I3C, SPI, UART, MIPI, SWD and PCIE </span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Knowledge of layout strategies and tradeoffs for linear and switching power supply circuits, EMI mitigation, high-speed signal integrity and power delivery networks</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, battery simulators, logic analyzers and thermal chambers</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Great interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across groups through written, verbal and visual formats</span></span></p></li><li><p><span>Familiarity with lab instrumentation and PDN/SI simulation tools</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><span>Minimum Qualifications: </span></span></p><ul><li><p><span>BS/BA degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of experience</span></p></li><li><p><span>7&#43; years of experience in electrical or hardware engineering </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Ability to travel internationally 20% of the time.</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><span>Preferred Qualifications:</span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>MS </span></span><span>degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of experience</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience defining integrated circuit design power delivery specifications such as impedance masks and DCR targets</span></p></li><li><p><span>Knowledge of design and layout for low-noise linear and switching power supply circuits</span></p></li><li><p><span>Knowledge of layout strategies for EMI minimization, signal integrity, and low noise</span></p></li><li><p><span>Familiarity with low power/battery operated designs</span></p></li><li><p><span>Great interpersonal skills;
