These websites are powered by the WordPress Content Management System (CMS), with PHP serving as the primary scripting language. The role also involves building and maintaining front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a Senior Web Developer, you will provide technical expertise and support, ensuring all development work adheres to industry standards, best practices, and organizational requirements.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications and Selection Criteria</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Critical Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong expertise in front-end development, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in back-end development using PHP and MySQL.</li>\n<li>Extensive experience in WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.</li>\n<li>Advanced English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additional Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>5–7 years of full-time professional experience in a Web Development role.</li>\n<li>Proven experience optimizing websites for search performance, SEO, and AIO.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of web accessibility standards and security best practices.</li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.</li>\n<li>Exceptional organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of version control systems (Git) and deployment workflows.</li>\n<li>Understanding of web services and API integrations, including SOAP and REST.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desirable</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working in an Agile environment and using project management tools such as Jira.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Communication</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with global business stakeholders, marketing teams, and web development teams to deliver effective digital solutions.</li>\n<li>Communicate website enhancements, updates, and changes to Navitas staff using established workflow and project management tools.</li>\n<li>Analyse, document, and improve processes and workflows to support efficient project delivery and continuous improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Relationships</span></p>\n<p>Success in this role will be built on strong collaboration with a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders, including:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Head of Web and User Experience</li>\n<li>Global and Divisional Web Development Teams</li>\n<li>Marketing Automation Team Members</li>\n<li>UPE Divisional Marketing Teams</li>\n<li>External vendors, agencies, and freelancers</li>\n<li>Other business stakeholders as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Navitas</span></p>\n<p>Navitas is a leading global education provider, empowering more than 60,000 students each year through innovative and transformative learning experiences across the world.
