If so, apply today!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervise, coordinate, and manage all aspects of safety on project site(s) to ensure a safe working environment.</li>\n <li>Conduct workplace inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, as well as company policies.</li>\n <li>Actively promote a strong safety culture through toolbox talks, safety awareness initiatives, and employee engagement.</li>\n <li>Deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors, focusing on safety protocols, procedures, and emergency preparedness.</li>\n <li>Investigate and document workplace incidents, near-misses, and safety violations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.</li>\n <li>Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable safety rules and regulations, and leverage strong negotiation and reasoning skills to influence and guide others toward effective and acceptable safety solutions.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>NCSO Certification required.</li>\n <li>OHS Certification would be an asset but not required.</li>\n <li>A minimum of 3 years of experience in a field safety-related discipline.</li>\n <li>Heavy industrial operations experience is an asset.</li>\n <li>A proven track record in participation of safety management processes e.g. safety committees and working groups and heavy industrial auditing and inspection experience.</li>\n <li>You are an excellent planner, organizer, with refined interpersonal and communication skills and have demonstrated computer competency with Microsoft Office software.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Tacten lies in its outstanding people.
