We are currently looking for a hospitalist to join our multidisciplinary team.  Start date is July 1, 2026 (flexible) to cover 7-10 shifts per month including one weekend per month. No nights or call.</p>\n<p>Patients are recovering from coronary artery bypass graft, valve and aortic surgeries.  You will manage patients with multiple co-morbidities along with common post-op complications including:  atrial fibrillation, acute kidney injury, delirium, pneumonia, stroke, and heart failure.  You will be an integral part of patients’ recovery and path to being discharged.</p>\n<p>The candidate would ideally have hospitalist experience and be comfortable in an acute care setting.  Extra training will be provided to the chosen candidate.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education, Licensing, & Experience</strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Desired</li>\n <li>Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) – Full</li>\n <li>Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) – Mandatory </li>\n <li>Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory</li>\n <li>Hospitalist Experience – Desired </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Closing Statement</h2>\n<p>Interested in applying?
