We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our collaborative finance team. This role is a great opportunity to build a strong foundation in cash accounting within a supportive and team-oriented environment. In this role, you will report to the Accounting Supervisor and play an active role in cash accounting and month-end close processes, with ownership over key cash-related accounting areas. This position offers broad exposure across the finance organization and an opportunity to expand your accounting knowledge while growing within a high-performing team. You will: Cash Accounting & Month-End Close Record and reconcile daily cash transactions, including deposits, disbursements, and bank account activity Prepare journal entries and monthly cash account reconciliations to support an accurate and timely close Assist in monitoring and maintaining the accuracy of cash balances across all accounts Support cash flow reporting and assist with cash forecasting as needed Process Improvement & Operational Support Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of cash accounting processes, including identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen controls Support the preparation and maintenance of documentation for internal controls and external audit requests Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses as the business continues to scale You have: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field) 1+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or industry) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Foundational knowledge of US GAAP Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to take ownership of assigned areas and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset You have an advantage if you have: Experience with a general ledger system (NetSuite experience is a plus) Exposure to cash reconciliations or bank reconciliation processes Experience supporting month-end close processes Salary Range: $68,000-$80,000 In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
