    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>Position Summary: </strong>Responsible for the accuracy of sampling, testing, measuring, recording, and analyzing production results, in addition to supervising the daily activities of the Lab Tech.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Responsiblities:&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Follows up and verifies that task assignments and work instructions are being completed accurately, while seeking ways to improve efficiency and update work instructions as needed.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Promotes health, safety, and environmental regulations by ensuring that standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to in compliance with corporate, federal, state, and local requirements.</span></li>\n <li><span>Promotes the quality system through adhering to the elements of and being familiar with the business policy, goals, quality manual, and procedures.</span></li>\n <li><span>Provides post project summaries to the Quality Manager and Plant manager that include basic analysis/feedback of what occurred during the project.</span></li>\n <li><span>Oversees lab personnel and functions relating to the execution of lab tests to produce reliable data ensuring products conform to company requirements, customer requirements and industry standards.</span></li>\n <li><span>Mentors and trains other Lab Techs to help further their value while promoting growth.</span></li>\n <li><span>Assigns projects and expectations to the Lab Techs following work assignments assigned by the Quality Manager.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Provides weekly and monthly reports, summarizing the test results and providing explanations for any occurrence (data points) found outside of standards.</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensures that routine tasks are performed accurately and follows strict methodologies to carry out analyses.</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensures proper preparation of specimens and samples is being performed.</span></li>\n <li><span>Interprets test results and relays them to Quality Manager, Production Manager/Supervisor and Plant Manager.</span></li>\n <li><span>Acts as a leader in place of the Quality Manager when the Quality Manager is unavailable or out of the office.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Performs other duties as required.&nbsp;</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Minimum of High School diploma or GED required.</span></li>\n <li><span>Has met the competency requirements for a Lab Tech I – III (internally) or a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Quality Lab in a production environment.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Effectively plans and organizes work to get efficient and effective results.</span></li>\n <li><span>Leads in the achievement of team obligations.</span></li>\n <li><span>Requires working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.</span></li>\n <li><span>ERP system experience preferred.</span></li>\n <li><span>Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferably in a production environment.</span></li>\n <li><span>B.S. in related field preferred.&nbsp;</span></li>\n</ul>",
