Current BLS CPR certification within the last year. Experience: A minimum of 2 years Pediatric Nursing Experience is required . Preferably three years of recent experience with progressive responsibilities as a nursing supervisor or manager. Experience in community health and/or knowledge of specialized skills (i.e., trach and ventilation care, central line care and palliative care) an asset. Other Skills and Abilities: Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle and problem solve difficult situations in an objective consistent format; able to demonstrate strong teamwork skills and effectively lead a team but also the ability to work independently; above average report writing and communication skills with both Field and Administrative employees; solid knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of community nursing service delivery to clients as well as program development, implementation, and evaluation. Proficient with Microsoft Office / computer applications, i.e., Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, and Adobe.
