Join us to help make an impact.\n<h2>Your Opportunity</h2>\n<p>The Medical-Surgical/Home Health Clinical Editor will be responsible for supporting the Section Editors in overseeing the development of high-quality content within specific content domain(s), applying both clinical knowledge/experience and the principles of evidence-based practice. The candidate must have the ability to analyze and critically appraise medical, nursing and allied health research and literature, write clinical topics and edit work produced by clinical editorial team. Healthcare experience is required. Experience in direct patient care preferred.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<p>Responsibilities: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Write new clinical content topics in several formats for clinical practice tools.</li>\n <li>Keep library of current clinical content up to date and relevant </li>\n <li>Takes initiative to identify areas of product development</li>\n <li>Makes decision in consultation with the Section Editor(s) that affect larger groups and more junior team members</li>\n <li>Serve as content specialist within specific content domain(s), and facilitate topic enhancement and development, perform systematic literature surveillance, and regular review of content collection</li>\n <li>Support culture of teamwork and writer development through effective editing and feedback</li>\n <li>Maintain quality of content and participate in quality initiatives</li>\n <li>Project co-manage/co-lead editorial tasks/initiatives as required with Section Editor or Editor-in-Chief</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned by supervisor </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About You</h2>\n<p>Required Qualifications: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing</li>\n <li>Direct patient care experience in medical-surgical, home health, or long-term care setting</li>\n <li>> 2 years of writing experience related to medical or scientific content</li>\n <li>Demonstrated understanding/use of principles of evidence-based practice and use of health information technology to support clinical decision making</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to extract relevant clinical information from research and write clinical content concisely, exercising judgment to produce content with minimal errors</li>\n <li>Ability to self-manage multiple priorities within deadlines and report on work produced</li>\n <li>Knowledge of PubMed, CINAHL searching strategies</li>\n <li>> 2 years’ experience with MS Office Suite including Word (with use of track changes) and Excel</li>\n <li>Understanding of business process and policies to solve problems, self-motivated to look for solutions</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Advanced degree in a healthcare-related field</li>\n <li>Specialty certification current and in good standing</li>\n <li>Experience assessing evidence, performing critical appraisal and statistical skills sufficient to analyze clinical relevance of all study types</li>\n <li>Demonstrated leadership qualities, such as initiative and a strong work ethic</li>\n <li>Demonstrated interpersonal skills such that feedback is effectively and constructively given and received</li>\n <li>Motivated self-learner with focus on team success</li>\n <li>Proficiency with specific Dynamic Health processes may serve in lieu of minimum required qualifications</li>\n <li>Experience with content management systems and project tracking programs (e.g., SDL, Rally, Distiller)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $68,070.00 - USD $97,240.00 /Yr.",
