This salaried exempt position will report directly to the regional Maintenance Manager.  The purpose of the position is to manage the shift maintenance to maximize Ready-Mix heavy equipment, trucks and plant equipment availability and efficiency as well as to supervise all site maintenance personnel. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Supervise execution of work orders ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness of work. </p>\n<p>Responsible of PM-inspection and PM repairs. </p>\n<p>Ensure proper and complete utilization of CMMS (DataStream) </p>\n<p>Maintain and promote strict adherence to all safety rules, regulations, and company policies. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assign employees as necessary to maximize availability of production equipment and efficiency. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Train new employees as required and cross-train existing employees to support day-to-day operations and vacancies. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Make recommendations for improvements and elaborate execution plan. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead Small Groups Safety Initiative for their department and conduct periodic safety and informational meetings with employees as needed. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain and present records and reports required for the organization. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li> Ensure cost control by presenting alternative solutions in the execution of daily tasks. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with the planner in the execution of the weekly plan.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Stay abreast of daily information related to maintenance and production issues at plant (work request, production/maintenance meetings).     </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Prioritize work based on plant needs and resources availability.      </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Create and plan work orders ensuring availability of labor, parts, services, etc. for their execution. Close coordination with procurement and warehouse required.    </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent, 4 years supervisory experience. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of ready-mix operations preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>General knowledge of heavy industrial plants and fleet management. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Inventory management skills required. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong organizational skills. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficient with personal computers and use of Microsoft Office software Word/Excel </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Fluent in English, both oral and written; Spanish language a plus. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Titan America is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) / Affirmative Action employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
