    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p>The Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) Program is the Navy's Flagship Signal's Intelligence (SIGINT) system installed on U.S. Navy ships, Coast Guard platforms, and Foreign Navy's and shore sites. NIWC Atlantic is the In-Service Engineering Agency (ISEA) responsible for lifecycle support, from development through transition. This support includes but is not limited to engineering, requirements analysis, testing, technical writing, fleet technical support, training, procurement, configuration management, production, warehousing, drafting and repair. This support, ultimately, is designed to ensure the deployed SSEE systems and Navy operators are positioned for success against our Nation's adversaries.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Applying critical thinking skills and organizational expertise to help organize efforts, tasks, and documentation to plan and execute installation and modification of our systems on USN surface combatants, special mission platforms, some USNS ships, and shore installations</li>\n <li>Communicating and coordinating with ISEA leadership, PMW-120 reps, NAVSEA reps (e.g. Dahlgren, shipyards, type commands), and with fleet customers electronically and in person in a professional manner</li>\n <li>Representing the U.S. Government in the execution of high visibility, high priority tasks on ships in port</li>\n <li>Documenting support needed via daily reporting and the use of JIRA</li>\n <li>Taking initiative to redline drawings when approved, capturing the system as built during installation</li>\n <li>Traveling required for but not limited to site surveys and installation support</li>\n <li>Performing electrical engineering, integration, fabrication, installation, and troubleshooting for electronic/hardware devices and instrumentation</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING</strong></p>\n<p><em>#LI-AM1</em></p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Top Secret/SCI clearance to be obtained and must be maintained</li>\n <li>Minimum 6-8 years of experience with shipboard (or submarine) systems installation and alterations</li>\n <li>Field experience with management of installation, integration, and alteration efforts for DOD and NIWC</li>\n <li>Familiar with the full suite of MS office products, and able to use tools such as Adobe Pro to review and redline drawings and process documentation</li>\n <li>Ability to navigate (SIDs) Ship Installation Drawings for needed information</li>\n <li>Understand operations including MIL-STD requirements, Information Assurance (IA) Requirements, and industry standard formats for sharing drawings, data, and other installation related artifacts</li>\n <li>Ability to quickly familiarize themselves with our complex family of systems and associated processes and offices we work with to manage and plan installations</li>\n <li>Attend meetings and relay pertinent info to the team, to include management</li>\n <li>Possess excellent oral and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Candidates possessing a strong technical and fleet installations related background, familiarity with technical terminology as it applies to SSEE, RTSO, and CCOP systems, processes, and capabilities will be given consideration</li>\n <li>Duties in this job are usually performed while in a seated position or while standing, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling heavy objects\n  <ul>\n   <li>This job requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>This job may require special protective equipment, training, and following safety rules to avoid injury</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>In depth familiarity with USN ship classes, SSES spaces, and related installation processes and cognizant authorities</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience and training with RF systems, cabling, processing, and networks</li>\n <li>Experience with QA of installed cables and connector terminations</li>\n <li>NAVSEA Cable fabrication certification  </li>\n <li>Experience with SIDS and the Liaison Action Report (LAR) process used to implement changes needed; Similar efforts could include the use of change papers.</li>\n <li>Experience working in shipyards for installations, backfit, or maintenance oversight and planning, including experience with shipboard and shipyard security and safety requirements for working aloft, over the side, and in confined spaces</li>\n <li>In depth knowledge of RF spectrum, signals, Electronic Warfare (EW), and related limits/considerations for systems, RF cable, and fiber optic cable installations</li>\n <li>Navy Afloat SIGINT Experience with Signal Intelligence and IO/ISR programs of record, including Shipboard Signals Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) Increment E/F, Cryptologic Carry-On Program (CCOP), and or Real-Time Spectrum Operations (RTSO)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Clearance Information</h2>\n<p><strong>SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL</strong></p>\n<h2>Travel Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Periodic travel required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p>Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
