Applicants should be enthusiastic about experimentation, student-centered instruction, project-based learning, building strong relationships, and developing equitable success strategies to serve all students.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Applicants should be able to provide evidence via the interview process of:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Strong subject area knowledge</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience developing, and/or willingness to develop pedagogical skill and relational classroom management strategies</span></li>\n<li><span>Growth mindset that positions students as the center of the work of teaching and learning and desires to disrupt systems of oppression and close achievement gaps via public education.</span></li>\n<li><span>Enthusiasm for learning and implementing innovative instructional approaches including project-based learning.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Applicants should discuss in their cover letter their areas of Chemistry expertise or Environmental Science expertise and previous experience in innovative instruction. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">School Overview:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>TSAS is a free public charter school with small class sizes that prioritizes innovation and teacher autonomy.
