    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Physical Therapist Assistant - Full Time - Home Health (Florence County)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.</li>\n <li>Provides physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.</li>\n <li>Supervised by Team Clinical Manager, McLeod Home Health. Works under the direction of the primary Physical Therapist.</li>\n <li>Directly accountable to the Clinical Manager, McLeod Home Health.</li>\n <li>Provides therapy for a wide variety of physical and/or functional limitations related to, but not limited to: musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular, and developmental impairments, documenting progress with measurable and functional goals.</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Independently maintains patient records according to hospital policy, completing daily record keeping, charges, and contributing to status updates and discharge summaries within hospital timelines</li>\n <li>Fosters an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, visitors and employees by projecting an attitude of flexibility and positivity to benefit the team and patient.</li>\n <li>Utilizes Service Excellence Standards throughout the hospital and outlying programs by taking ownership of customer needs and handling customer complaints promptly and effectively using the service recovery approach</li>\n <li>Demonstrates continued professional growth through setting goals and participating in education offerings, independently achieve and maintain CEU’s for SC LLR</li>\n <li>Conducts job responsibilities in a productive and efficient manner</li>\n <li>Communicates with physicians and other medical personnel regarding treatment provided, patient’s progress or complications, recommendations, and clarification of orders</li>\n <li>Adheres to the SC State LLR and SC State Practice Act guidelines, McLeod Health and departmental Policies and Procedure.</li>\n <li>Insures patient confidentiality through the proper maintenance of Protected Health Information.</li>\n <li>Utilizes appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patient, self, and staff.</li>\n <li>Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong> 80 Hours Biweekly. Full Time. <i><strong>This position will cover Florence County.</strong></i></p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications/Training:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Zero to one year of related work experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must possess a current valid South Carolina driver’s license and automobile insurance as required by law.
