    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a<strong> potential</strong> opportunity for a <strong>Nuclear Medicine Technologists (NMT)</strong> for<strong> Positron Emission Tomography (PET)</strong> - PET/CT Technologist<strong> </strong>to join our dynamic team at the <strong>Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS)</strong><strong>.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Hours:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monday – Sunday: Between the hours of Midnight – Midnight Including Holidays</li>\n <li>Lunch or dinner meal periods: employees that works an 8-hourshift shall be entitled to two (2) 15-minute breaks and one (1) 30-minute mealbreak.</li>\n <li>40 hours per week.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of two (2) years of current work experience in Nuclear Medicine and PT/CT.</li>\n <li>Hold a current and valid ARRT (N) certification and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification.</li>\n <li>Have demonstrated experience starting Intravenous (IV), radiopharmaceutical injections, and contrast injections. IV certification is preferred but not required.</li>\n <li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification</li>\n <li>Picture Achieving & Communication Systems (PACS) work experience; however, AGFA PACS experience is preferred but not required. Training provided as needed.</li>\n <li>Have basic computer skills.
