Secures facility as directed. We strive to create a working environment that is inclusive, equitable and welcoming as we honor employee experiences, perspectives, and unique identities.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform custodial duties; cleaning throughout the conservatory; work in public and non-public areas of the facility.</li>\n<li>Secure facility.</li>\n<li>Perform general maintenance tasks and complete work orders as assigned.</li>\n<li>Maintain assigned tools/equipment and report problems to the Foreman promptly.</li>\n<li>Organize and execute set up and tear down of all classes scheduled during your shift.</li>\n<li>Assist with installation of all shows.</li>\n<li>Clean and assure proper maintenance of all restroom facilities.</li>\n<li>Assist with show installation and all special events as needed.</li>\n<li>Work on outside cleanup.</li>\n<li>Follow recycling program.</li>\n<li>Safely operate conservatory vehicle to make deliveries, pick up supplies, etc.</li>\n<li>Assist Facility Manager and Forman in other areas as needed.</li>\n<li>Assist Horticulture Department as needed.</li>\n<li>Performs other duties as requested.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Able to communicate well with all levels of people in a friendly manner.</li>\n<li>Able to work alone as well as in a team environment.</li>\n<li>Able to use manual tools in all kinds of weather and conditions.</li>\n<li>Knowledge in the upkeep of facility, offices and grounds.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of material, equipment and tools used in cleaning, maintenance and repair of buildings and garden areas.</li>\n<li><span>Physical mobility: sitting, standing, walking, lifting/carrying objects up to 50 pounds.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WORKING CONDITIONS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to provide own transportation to perform principal responsibilities.</li>\n<li>Requires evening and weekend work both indoor and outdoor locations.</li>\n<li>Forty –hour workweek with overtime as required.</li>\n<li>Will at times be working alone in the facility.</li>\n<li>Will have occasion to work in or pass through any area of the conservatory or growing houses.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">MINIMUM POSITION GUIDELINES: (Education, Experience and Certification)</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a high school degree.</li>\n<li>Three years work experience in a general laborer field.</li>\n<li>Must hold a current Pennsylvania driver’s license and be insurable by the conservatory.        </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>",
