We are open to candidates based out of Chicago, Dallas or Houston. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,300 lawyers located in 16 offices in six countries.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Learning & Technology Adoption Specialist will be a member of the Learning and Adoption team, and be responsible for delivering high-impact technology training, personalized coaching, and ongoing support that helps attorneys and business professionals operate efficiently and confidently in a modern legal environment. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a passion for helping others learn and a strong understanding of emerging technologies, including generative AI tools. Familiarity with legal-specific AI solutions such as Vincent, Harvey, and CoCounsel is a significant plus. If you are looking to work in a friendly, collaborative environment that affords unique opportunities to expand your professional development, this role is for you.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>AI & Innovation Enablement</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Deliver foundational training on generative AI concepts and best practices for responsible usage in the legal industry</li>\n <li>Introduce attorneys to AI tools such as Harvey, CoCounsel, Wendell, and provide guidance on integrating them into everyday practice</li>\n <li>Stay current on AI developments and recommend relevant training opportunities or adjustments</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Core Technology Training & Onboarding</strong></li>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Deliver live training sessions (in-person and virtual) on core systems: Microsoft 365, document management, communication platforms, and legal tech tools</li>\n   <li>Lead structured onboarding for new attorneys and business staff, with customized guidance tailored to each role</li>\n   <li>Support firmwide training initiatives related to new software rollouts or major upgrades</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Personalized Coaching & Office Hours</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Host “Tech Office Hours” in-person and remotely, offering 1:1 support and workflow-specific help</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide individual coaching for users seeking targeted refreshers or tool-specific assistance</li>\n <li>Serve as a trusted guide for professionals adapting to generative AI tools and modern work platforms</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Just-in-Time Learning & Content Development</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Create user-friendly learning content including tip sheets, brief walkthroughs, and video snippets</li>\n <li>Maintain and enhance the firm’s internal learning resource library</li>\n <li>Tailor training materials to highlight practical, real-world use cases — especially for AI and automation tools</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Needs Analysis & Collaboration</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Track training trends and feedback to proactively identify skills gaps or emerging needs</li>\n <li>Coordinate with Help Desk, the Practice Innovation Center of Excellence (CoE), and Regional Advisors to ensure training complements innovation enablement</li>\n <li>Share observations and user feedback with internal product and engineering teams</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience)</li>\n <li>Two to Four years' experience in a legal or professional services training or support role</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, and core legal technology platforms</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to teach technology concepts in an approachable, confidence-building manner</li>\n <li>Enthusiastic about legal tech innovation, with a working knowledge of generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, CoCounsel, Harvey)</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Highly organized and able to manage competing training priorities across teams and offices</li>\n <li>Experience with AI enablement or legal AI tools such as Westlaw Precision, Lexis+, or practice-specific LLM applications is preferred</li>\n <li>Familiarity with tools like Articulate, Camtasia, Snagit, or Scribe is preferred</li>\n <li>Background in adult learning, instructional design, or tech coaching is preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>ADA Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to sit at a desk most of the working day and walk short distances</li>\n <li>Needs manual dexterity, speed and accuracy in handling office equipment</li>\n <li>Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption</li>\n <li>Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals</li>\n <li>Ability to carry light [to moderate] objects, e.g., files, small objects and supplies a short distance.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift, carry and move objects [up to 15/20/25 lbs OR in excess of 25/30 lbs]</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Employment Status</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Exempt</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $110,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.\n<h2>Pay Range Statement</h2>\n<p>The salary range for this role represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
