Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking a talented Professional Surveyor to join our Civil Engineering Group at our Denver, Colorado office. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, primarily within the Rocky Mountain Region. You'll be involved in conducting survey work that requires sound judgment and expertise in standard survey techniques, procedures, and criteria. Each project presents unique challenges, providing opportunities for you to learn, grow, and develop your project management skills. The Team Our civil engineering teams focus on site and infrastructure design, including leading projects such as the 16th Street Mall redesign in Denver. Responsibilities Conduct survey work with minimal daily supervision, applying knowledge of surveying principles and techniques in land and construction surveying. Develop project management skills and represent Martin/Martin in project meetings. Promote survey work and assist with survey proposal preparation. Write and review legal descriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Process and analyze fieldwork data. Coordinate between office and fieldwork. Research public records and interpret legal descriptions. Perform initial analysis of documentary and physical evidence. Direct computations for control surveys, subdivision sections, boundary analysis, and construction staking. Train and mentor personnel. Reduce and analyze GPS Control surveys. Prepare legal descriptions, exhibits, and plats. Sign and stamp legal descriptions you have prepared or reviewed.
