    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Pay Rate:</span>  $15.00 - $16.00 per hour              <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours:</span>  Monday - Friday 8:45 am - 3:15 pm<br><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; text-decoration: underline\">JOB SUMMARY</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Under the direct supervision of the Art/Special Events Manager, the Theatre Camp Counselor is responsible for assisting in the creation and implementation of Theatre Camp curriculum, guiding and instructing campers, and other leadership duties.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; text-decoration: underline\">ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Ability to assist in the creation and implementation of curriculum for all ages of Theatre Camp  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Plan and supervise weekly fieldtrips, including transportation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Supervise and swim with campers during swim time</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Must be able to supervise and lead staff </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with participants, parents and staff</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Must understand and work within the budget</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Performs the job safely and in compliance with District policies, procedures, work and safety rules, and the employee handbook</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Assist students with costuming, set design, prop design, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Ability to stand in an indoor classroom environment for up to six (6) hours </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Other duties assigned by supervisor</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; text-decoration: underline\">MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">If required to drive, you must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving a 14 passenger bus</span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">.</span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">One to three years of theatre training/experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Must be able to work the entire duration of the summer</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; text-decoration: underline\">EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">One to three years of experience in the theatre/dance field and/or with camps</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Some college education preferred</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Elk Grove Park District is an Equal Opportunity Employer</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><a href=\"https://www.elkgroveparks.org/benefits-summary/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Summary of Benefits</a></span></p>\n<p><br></p>",
