    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Groups Recover Together is always looking for an <strong>Advanced Practice Nurses (NP/ APRN) with Autonomous Practice</strong> to join our team as a <strong>1099 Provider</strong> in our Roanoake location!</p>\n<p><strong>Offering $100 an hour.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Minimum</strong> <strong>10 hours weekly</strong> based on availability (M-F; evenings included).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Groups delivers a proven, evidence-based model of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), considered the gold standard for the treatment of opiate use disorder by the American Society for Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Association (SAMHSA). We empower our members to regain control of their lives through a combination of therapy and medication.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Nurse Practitioner/ Advance Practice Nurse (1099):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in conducting intakes. Providers see patients after they have already undergone an extensive evaluation by the counselor.</li>\n <li>Monitor patients' clinical progress at regular group counseling sessions. Groups are run by specialized counseling staff; providers participate by answering questions and managing patients’ medication dosing.</li>\n <li>Authorize patients' prescriptions during monthly visits with patient panels.</li>\n <li>Complete all notes and reporting in Groups EMR system within required timeline (providers receive full orientation/ training on Clinical Protocols before eligible to begin work with Groups)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>*We utilize strict protocols to guide clinical decision-making. We have also developed a unique, technology-driven and team-based clinical system that handles all day-to-day patient management and regulatory compliance. This allows physicians to focus exclusively on medical management.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Nurse Practitioner/ Advance Practice Nurse (1099) Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active, Unencumbered State License with <strong>Autonomous Practice</strong> (NP/APRN) in <strong>Virginia.</strong></li>\n <li>Active, Individual DEA with address listed in <strong>Virginia.</strong></li>\n <li>DEAX designation as formerly required to prescribe Buprenorphine or proof of 8hrs of qualified training as assigned by SAMHSA will be required (<em>experience prescribing in the MAT/SUD space preferred; in-direct/relative experience considered</em>).</li>\n <li>Proof of Active Board Certification <em>(NP/ APRN; any specialty)</em></li>\n <li>Ability to work in-office at one of our <strong>Virginia</strong> locations with available hours at least 5hrs per week. </li>\n</ul>",
