This role ensures efficient utilization of raw fish supply, maintains product freshness and quality, and aligns production with customer demand while minimizing waste and operational costs.</p>\n\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong><br />\n&bull; Lead and manage the production planning team for daily, weekly, and long-term scheduling<br />\n&bull; Develop production plans based on demand forecasts, raw material availability, and capacity constraints<br />\n&bull; Coordinate closely with Procurement to align fresh fish supply with production needs<br />\n&bull; Ensure proper handling of perishable inventory, minimizing spoilage and maximizing yield<br />\n&bull; Monitor and adjust production schedules in real time due to supply variability (e.g., catch volumes, seasonality)<br />\n&bull; Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with food safety regulations (FDA, HACCP, USDA where applicable)<br />\n&bull; Optimize inventory levels for fresh, frozen, and processed seafood products<br />\n&bull; Analyze production performance, KPIs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives<br />\n&bull; Work cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Logistics, and Warehousing teams<br />\n&bull; Lead ERP/MRP planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) for production and inventory management<br />\n&bull; Drive cost reduction strategies while maintaining product quality and service levels<br />\n&bull; Manage workforce planning in coordination with production supervisors<br />\n&bull; Prepare reports on production efficiency, waste, and fulfillment performance</p>\n",
