font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What you will be responsible for:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em>Promote Company Values:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Uphold The Universal Group's purpose (PEACE OF MIND) and core values (PASSIONATE, AUTHENTIC, AND DRIVEN).</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em>Coordination and Liaison:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Collaborate with the Operations Manager (OM) and General Manager (GM), Dispatch, Traffic Support Services, and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) to coordinate schedules, distribute work efficiently, and address relief needs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Manage and develop client relationships in partnership with the OM, GM, and Director of Traffic Services.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em>Team Management:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Supervise and direct traffic employees in Dispatch, Fleet, and on-site requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Continuously providing support and guidance to our field staff (LCTs &amp; TCPs)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure field staff comply with regulations, company standards, and policies through education and training.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em>Client Communication:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Address the assigned portfolio of clients and employee inquiries via phone and email, including staffing, safety concerns, and complaints.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Investigate and address complaints from clients, the public, and employees, reporting major incidents.  This should be completed in collaboration with Human Resources and involve the employee’s union representative, where applicable</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em>Resource Management:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Collaborate with Fleet, Rentals and Facilities departments to maintain proper inventory and supply of fleet vehicles for new LCTs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Analyze field staff utilization and address non-supply issues.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assist HR, OM GM, and Director with manpower forecasting, planning, and deployment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Attend and actively participate in scheduled meetings</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em>HR and Safety Compliance:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Work with HR on recruiting, retention, labor relations, and compliance with collective agreements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, procedures, and practices in collaboration with OHS.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em>Additional Responsibilities:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Unique reporting for assigned client groups.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Site visits for contractor consultations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Annual goal setting, in support of the company's values, as well as growth and personal targets.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you get from us:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Extended Medical, Vision, and Dental benefits after the probationary period.</span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent total compensation package.</span></li>\n<li><span>Access to a Health and Wellness Program.</span></li>\n<li><span>Paid vacation.</span></li>\n<li><span>Access to a growing organization with lots of advancement opportunities.</span></li>\n<li><span>An amazing culture where you will feel supported and recognized for your work.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we need from you: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Construction industry experience preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Previous traffic control experience is considered an asset.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Minimum 2 years construction management experience required, or equivalent work experience.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to multi-task and effectively meet deadlines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience in addressing conduct and performance issues with geographically dispersed field employees.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Well versed in all safety regulations as it relates to traffic management, its service, and facility. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Valid WorkSafeBC Traffic Control Person ticket considered an asset.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Whe<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">re/When you will be working:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">While the position will work mostly out of the Vernon Office, flexibility may be needed from time-to-time.
