In this role, you’ll play a critical part in keeping the infrastructure that powers our nation’s air traffic management running flawlessly. This role is a half time role with expected hours of 20 per week.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>In this position, you will:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Facility & Site Planning Oversight:</strong> Monitor the survey, planning, site preparation, and implementation of FAA facilities and radar replacement activities, ensuring visibility into impacts across the NAS.</li>\n <li><strong>Site Readiness & Issue Tracking Management:</strong> Track, manage, and report all facility‑related issues, risks, and action items to ensure site readiness and successful installation of new surface movement radar systems at airports.</li>\n <li><strong>Workstream Coordination Lead:</strong> Coordinate with FAA Implementation Teams, Program Office, Technical Operations, and the radar Vendor on facility drawings, surveys, crane siting considerations, engineering reports, and site preparation requirements.</li>\n <li><strong>Standards & Compliance Assurance:</strong> Ensure program adherence to all current applicable codes, orders, specifications, and standards during design, engineering, and site‑preparation activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Who You Are:</strong></p>\n<p>You thrive in <strong>mission-critical environments</strong>, have a keen eye for detail, and are passionate about keeping complex systems running smoothly. Here, innovation, expertise, and dedication are recognized and celebrated.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Make your mark where it matters most—join Peraton and help shape the future of aviation.</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree 8 years experience, Master’s 6 years, Associate’s 10 years, or High School diploma 12 years relevant experience.</li>\n <li>Strong expertise in HVAC, power distribution, communications (fiber), intercabling standards, and building infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Experience reviewing technical designs and contractor work for compliance with standards.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of regulatory and safety frameworks for critical infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Background in physical security standards for facilities.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with FAA programs, NAS systems, or air traffic control environments.</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license or certifications in facility/building management.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with sustainable building practices, LEED standards, or energy-efficient systems.</li>\n <li>Understanding of project management methodologies and tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#BNATC</p>\n<h2>Peraton Overview</h2>\n<p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
