          "text": "<p>As a part of the expansion of the Geotechnical Team, Egis is looking for a senior geotechnincal engineer with a focus on major infrastructure projects.</p><ul><li>Technical leadership of a team of engineers working on airfield, rail and energy projects</li><li>Technical oversight of major projects, including supporting and conducting design analysis, field investigation plans and professional report writing.</li><li>Project management of geotechnical investigation and design assignments including responsibility for project scope, schedule, quality, safety, and cost control.</li><li>Liaise and collaborate with other disciplines within Egis on joint proposals and projects.</li><li>Conduct site reviews as needed during conceptual, investigation, and construction phases.</li><li>Liaise with clients, government and/or regulatory bodies as well as contractors.</li><li>Play an active role in business development activities and marketing by establishing and maintaining positive client relationships with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Provide guidance, mentoring and geotechnical design training to staff as required.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<ul><li>Licensed member of Professional Engineers Ontario with a minimum of 15&#xa0;years of consulting experience in geotechnical engineering.</li><li>Demonstrated strong experience designing foundations for major infrastructure, airport, bridge and rail transit systems within Ontario, with a proven track record of successful project completion.</li><li>In-depth knowledge and extensive working experience with applicable regulations, codes, and guidelines such as CFEM, CHBDC, OPSS, OBC, and other relevant Canadian and international standards.</li><li>Demonstrated experience working with or managing multi-disciplinary project teams, including the ability to lead and motivate team members effectively.</li><li>Substantial previous construction inspection experience, including the ability to identify and resolve complex geotechnical issues on-site.</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Possession of a Graduate Degree (Master's or PhD) in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering is highly desirable.</li><li>Proven project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and control budgets effectively.</li><li>Strong client management and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Demonstrated project experience working with various municipalities across Ontario, with preference given to previous experience within the GTHA.</li><li>Proficiency in geotechnical software packages such as Plaxis, GeoStudio, or similar tools for advanced analysis and modelling.</li><li>Experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations, proposals, and reports to clients and at industry conferences.</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with emerging trends and technologies in geotechnical engineering.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex geotechnical challenges.</li><li>Experience in mentoring and developing junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.</li></ul>",
