    "description": "<h2>Nature and Scope</h2>\n<p>This position has contact with the staff of base hospitals, and outlying hospitals; with physicians, public service agencies (fire, police, highway patrol) and ground ambulance personnel; patients and their families; and with various service groups for public relations and educational purposes. This position has the authority to determine medical and therapy based on the assessment of the patient in keeping with established protocols; safety decisions involving patient and aircraft/ambulance; whether or not additional equipment should be taken; in triage, who to transport and setting of priorities; and the care, inventory, and ordering of standard medical supplies. Decisions that must be referred to the supervisor are management decisions outside established policies and procedures; flight requests outside of normal administrative guidelines – distance, search and rescue, private residence, prearranged transports, long distance transports; ride-alongs; equipment purchase and addition/deletion of different drugs; changes in medical protocol; and the coordination of public relations request.</p>\n<h2>Location</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>We are located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road, Quincy, CA 95971.</li>\n <li>You may be scheduled to work in either Lassen or Plumas County </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation</h2>\n<p>Compensation range: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>$18.98 - $24.76 / hour</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Job Status / Shift Information</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Per Diem, non-benefited</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Experience: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Three (3) years of driving experience </li>\n   <li>Able to accept direct Paramedic supervision. </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Self-starter requiring little oversight with excellent written and verbal skills.  </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Education:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current Nor Cal EMT-Basic or higher certification. </li>\n <li>Current Healthcare provider CPR certification </li>\n <li>California Ambulance Driver’s License</li>\n <li>O.T. Medical Examination Certificate</li>\n <li>Current NREMT-Basic certification</li>\n <li>Valid California or Nevada Driver's license. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>This position will require fieldwork - staffing and riding in an ambulance or medical helicopter. The candidate will be required to perform under adverse working conditions. These conditions may require special uniforms or protective clothing for all weather and airborne and bloodborne exposures.
