    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p>If you’re passionate about early intervention, working with students and families, and making a direct impact in schools—this role is for you!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Devereux is hiring a <strong>Student Assistance Program (SAP) Liaison / Mental Health Clinician</strong> to provide school-based mental health and prevention services across public K–12 schools.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Typical locations include <strong>Phoenixville, Downingtown, </strong>and<strong> possibly Octorara</strong> <em>(subject to change based on program needs)</em></li>\n <li>Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM</li>\n <li>10-month, school-year position<em>. </em></li>\n</ul>\n<p>As an SAP Clinician, you will collaborate with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. <strong>We offer:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Compensation: <strong>$48,000 - $55,000</strong> per year based on experience.</li>\n <li>Excellent health benefits, effective 30 days after employment.</li>\n <li>Tuition and student loan assistance through our ASCEND Program.</li>\n <li>Mission-driven work making a real difference</li>\n <li>A supportive, collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional growth</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>In this role, you will:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate and deliver prevention and intervention services to public school students referred to SAP</li>\n <li>Provide consultation to SAP teams, school staff, and families on screenings and clinical recommendations</li>\n <li>Conduct behavioral health screenings and deliver student and family-focused support services</li>\n <li>Facilitate psychoeducational and drug & alcohol prevention groups</li>\n <li>Deliver mental health and prevention services across assigned schools, with a focus on elementary students</li>\n <li>Serve as a resource to promote student wellness and reduce mental health and substance use risks</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions. </strong></p>\n<p>Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS) provides support to schools around early learning, academic interventions, safety practices and the assessment and treatment of students with complex behaviors, cognitive challenges and communication needs. We use evidence-based practices with an emphasis on assisting school systems with special education populations. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#sponsored</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education</strong>: Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field</p>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong>  1+ year of behavioral health experience (schools or youth preferred);SAP, school-based experience preferred; Valid driver’s license; Strong communication and collaboration skills; </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Clearances Required:</strong> Act 33/34, Act 168, FBI Fingerprints</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
