No matter where you are or how you express yourself, it’s always the fastest way to share a moment!   </span></p><p></p><p><span>We&#39;re looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Test Engineer to join the SpectaclesSnap Lab team and work on our next-generation Augmented Reality Spectacles.</span></p><p></p><p><span>What you’ll do:</span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Partner with Engineering and Contract Manufacturers (CM) to develop production test procedures, methods, tools, code, and fixtures for consumer electronic products</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Drive the evaluation and procurement of production test equipment</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Partner with Engineering to establish robust test limits to minimize failure modes and maintain high production yields</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Work with PD, Software Development (SW), and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to ensure high process capability (Cpk) of test processes and reduce overall testing cost</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Collaborate with PD and NPI teams to ensure Design-for-Test (DFT) and Design-for-Cost (DFC) are integrated into product design</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Ensure the high repeatability and reproducibility of all factory test measurements</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Deliver low-cost test solutions by minimizing test stations, reducing test time, and implementing cost-effective strategies</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Provide essential on-site support during prototype and mass production builds</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Develop strong collaborative relationships with Product Development (PD), Software Development (SW), New Product Introduction (NPI), and Contract Manufacturers (CM)</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Strong understanding of manufacturing test processes for PCBAs and full consumer electronic products.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Test knowledge experience with audio (speakers, microphones), cameras, displays, RF (Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, etc)</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Familiar with Six Sigma or statistical methodologies (GR&amp;R, Cpk, etc)</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience with test code and scripting</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Proficient in written and verbal communication in both Mandarin and English</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Minimum Qualifications:</span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>3&#43; years of experience in consumer electronics manufacturing, focused on production testing, test code development, test equipment selection, and test fixture design</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Direct experience testing consumer electronics components such as imagers, audio systems, RF, and user interface (U/I) systems</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Knowledge of Six Sigma principles and experience in driving factory quality metrics</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Ability to work on-site at Taipei manufacturing site 35%&#43; (during active bills must be on-site, commutable distance from Taiwan CM)</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Ability to travel to US, China, Thailand 10%&#43; of the time </span></span></p></li></ul><p><span>Preferred Qualifications:</span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Masters in engineering, FW or related field</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>5&#43; years in electronics manufacturing or related field</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience with programming or scripting languages (Python, Looker, etc)</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Six Sigma green belt or black belt certification</span></span></p></li></ul><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p><span>If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don’t be shy and provide us some </span><a href=\"https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScV7t31iR3yYR9ztGDHJpbvL63svWpb6s0afkBkLEjGnDx4Kg/viewform\" target=\"_blank\"><u>information</u></a>.</p><p></p><p><span>&#34;Default Together&#34; Policy at Snap: At Snap Inc. we believe that being together in person helps us build our culture faster, reinforce our values, and serve our community, customers and partners better through dynamic collaboration.
