    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Starting Rate: $19.00</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Residential Skills Instructor is responsible to implement individual service and behavioral plans and supervise and support the daily activities of individuals, providing ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling on a consistent basis. We are a strong-knit community that values the ideas and contributions from our staff.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <em><strong>*We will pay for you to get RBT certified for this position!*</strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Are you ready to make a difference?</strong></p>\n<h2>Minimum Education Required</h2>High School Diploma/GED\n<h2>Shift</h2>Blended Shift, Second Shift\n<h2>Additional Shift Details</h2>Sunday 9a-11p Mon & Tue 3p-11p Wed 2p-11p\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Report to shift on time ready to spend at least 95 percent of working hours in personal contact with individuals.</li>\n <li>Assist individuals through implementation of all goals and objectives</li>\n <li>Implement behavior plans and treatment plans developed by program leadership and program clinicians.  </li>\n <li>Track and report data related to these plans according to the Agency expectations.  </li>\n <li>Participate in planning and implementation of daily activity schedule and daily routine </li>\n <li>Support individuals in their home and help individuals to become an active member of their community by actively seeking out integrated activities.</li>\n <li>Assist individuals in Self-Advocacy, decision-making and empowerment.</li>\n <li>Provide ongoing support, guidance and role modeling for individuals.</li>\n <li>Assist individuals with home maintenance and perform cleaning duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Assist individuals to identify and develop person centered goals and plans to address any concerns, wants or needs they have.</li>\n <li>Prepare summaries of interaction and objective behavioral observations of clients at the end of shift; clinical notes and data collection using Microsoft Outlook.</li>\n <li>Lift and transfer individuals as needed.</li>\n <li>Provide transportation as needed.</li>\n <li>Maintain all mandatory core certifications (First Aid, CPR, Safety Care, MAP, HR/DPPC etc)</li>\n <li>Implements the principles of Safety Care appropriately and other program specific safety trainings.</li>\n <li>Encourage and provide opportunities for community participation and membership.</li>\n <li>Schedule attend and document appointments as assigned.</li>\n <li>Safeguard individuals’ monetary funds. </li>\n <li>Report significant issues (health, behavioral, psychiatric) to the appropriate supervisor in a timely fashion.  Document issues/incidents according to agency and division guidelines</li>\n <li>Perform physical intervention in the event of a client crisis.</li>\n <li>Attends and actively participates in supervision, staff meetings and trainings</li>\n <li>Ensure that individuals we support are treated with dignity and respect in accordance with Advocates’ Human Rights Policy and the Advocates Way.</li>\n <li>Perform all duties in accordance with the agency’s policies and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or GED, with three years working in Human Services.</li>\n <li>Experience implementing behavioral plans and data collecting.</li>\n <li>Experience with utilizing/implementing applied behavioral therapy preferred.</li>\n <li>Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.</li>\n <li>High energy level and ability to function in a team atmosphere and independently.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and ability to use good judgment.</li>\n <li>Strongly prefer that a candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations</li>\n <li>Commitment to providing a clean homelike environment for the individuals.</li>\n <li>Ability to operate agency vehicles</li>\n <li>Strong computer knowledge </li>\n <li>Must hold a valid drivers’ license.
