As an EEO employer, we provide opportunities for all qualified candidates without regards to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran, or disabled status.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) is responsible for maintenance and repairs to keep aircraft working safely and efficiently.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for the maintenance and preventive maintenance of aircraft, components and equipment.</li>\n <li>Determine airworthiness of aircraft and components, in accordance with established procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations.</li>\n <li>Service and inspect aircraft, components and related equipment.</li>\n <li>Perform aircraft jacking, lifting, towing, and manual movement.</li>\n <li>Operate and inspect powered and non-powered ground equipment.</li>\n <li>Perform structural repair, inspects and identifies for prevention and repair.</li>\n <li>Complete aircraft maintenance forms entries and enters data into the Maintenance Data System, ensures entries are accurate and complete.</li>\n <li>Responsible to maintain a clean and orderly work area.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate behavior in accordance with Endeavor Air Code of Conduct in all Company business dealings and decisions.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate a high level of focus on customer service.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Competencies Required</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>COMMUNICATION: Effectively and respectfully communicates with employees and peers</li>\n <li>DECISION MAKING: Makes clear and concise decisions in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>DEPENDABILITY: Reliable in completing assignments and meeting deadlines.</li>\n <li>ETHICS AND VALUES – FOUNDATION OF FLIGHT: Acts in an ethical manner in all work activities, adheres to the core values of Endeavor and acts in line with those values</li>\n <li>INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Works harmoniously and effectively with peers, subordinates, supervisors, and the public.</li>\n <li>JOB KNOWLEDGE: Technically and professionally skilled in all position responsibilities and duties</li>\n <li>QUALITY OF WORK: Effectively and safely completes tasks in a timely manner and ensured high quality output</li>\n <li>SAFETY AWARENESS: Always puts safety first and leads by example</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent</li>\n <li>Must hold a valid Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) Mechanics license</li>\n <li>Professional work experience in aviation maintenance field preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with a high degree of attention to detail</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic, reliable, self-motivated with a positive attitude, and customer service oriented</li>\n <li>Ability to travel internationally with the ability to hold a passport required within 3 months of hire; passport expenses are paid for by the employee</li>\n <li>Ability to read, write, speak and understand English</li>\n <li>Must possess a valid driver's license and if position requires use of company vehicle(s), must be insurable under company insurance coverage</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Work Environment & Physical Demands</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A uniform is required; Endeavor Air provides a uniform allowance.</li>\n <li>Safety shoes are required and cost covered by employee.</li>\n <li>Work is performed at the airport, outstations and various repair material vendors.</li>\n <li>Requires contact with staff and business relationships with management staff.</li>\n <li>Required to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime, as necessary.</li>\n <li>Physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking and light lifting of boxes, bags, files and electronic equipment not in excess of 50 lbs.</li>\n <li>Must be able to use ladders, work stands, lifts, etc. and be able to work on all areas of the aircraft that may require access during performance of duties.</li>\n <li>Must not have any medical conditions that preclude certification of aircraft run/taxi of company aircraft and vehicles.</li>\n <li>Some travel required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p>Providing world-class service to our customers starts with providing world-class benefits to our employees.
