We even offer pet insurance for your four-legged family members.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Early access to earned wages with Daily Pay, tuition reimbursement to help further your career and adoption assistance to help you grow your family.   </li>\n</ul>\n<p>With a collective goal to champion a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and respected, we honor the ways people are unique and embrace what brings us together.   </p>\n<p>And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience. </p>\n<p>Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary care team to support individualized plans of care and optimize patient outcomes </li>\n <li>Accurately obtain, monitor, and document vital signs and clinical data in the electronic medical record (EMR) </li>\n <li>Deliver non-invasive clinical and clerical support within the Emergency Department under RN and physician direction </li>\n <li>Perform EKGs, assist with patient transport, and support activities of daily living while ensuring patient comfort and dignity </li>\n <li>Prepare, maintain, and ensure proper functioning of clinical equipment and treatment areas </li>\n <li>Maintain precise, timely documentation in the electronic health record in accordance with regulatory standards </li>\n <li>Promote a safe, clean, and compliant care environment following infection prevention and safety protocols </li>\n <li>Effective clinical communication and strong interdisciplinary teamwork </li>\n <li>Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with sound judgment </li>\n <li>High attention to detail with strong clinical documentation practices </li>\n <li>Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and service excellence </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>At least one year of clinical experience - Preferred </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>License(s)/Certification(s):</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Required (Upon Hire or Preferred): \n  <ul>\n   <li>Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (EMT-B) certification  \n    <ul>\n     <li>Accepted from: Iowa Department of Public Health (IADPH), Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), or Wisconsin Department of Health Services (WI DHS)  </li>\n    </ul></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) <em>(preferred upon hire; required within 30 days)</em>  </li>\n <li>Required Within 90 Days of Hire: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification  </li>\n   <li>Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training  </li>\n   <li>Mandatory Reporter Training (as applicable to state of practice):  \n    <ul>\n     <li>Child Abuse Reporting (IA and/or IL)  </li>\n     <li>Dependent Adult Abuse Reporting (IA and/or IL) </li>\n    </ul></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>",
