Focuses on expeditiously performing isolated sampling and/or gauging in support of jobs requiring extra timeliness. Certifies that field assignments conform to company policies and procedures as well as job specific instructions supplied by the Operations Department. As company field representative, acts in a professional and dignified manner so as to maintain the company&rsquo;s respected and trusted reputation.</p><p>4.0<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Minimum Requirements</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>No minimum experience necessary. Requires a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with good math skills.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Must complete training, pass corresponding theoretical tests, and field evaluations.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Must maintain a valid Transportation Worker&rsquo;s Identification Card (TWIC). Possess and maintain a vehicle in good working order, a valid driver&rsquo;s license, vehicle insurance and registration.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Must be dependable, able to work independently and be able to effectively communicate and maintain professional relationships with numerous clients (i.e., terminal and vessel/barge personnel).&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Must pass company defined physical requirements. Must meet and maintain site-specific requirements mandated by customers and/or terminals in order to have access to all facilities.&nbsp;</p><p>5.0<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Responsibilities</p><p>&nbsp;As instructed by the Operations Department and under the strict guidelines described in the Inspection and ASTM/API manuals:&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Acts as a Company representative in the field. Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities as per company policies and procedures. Maintains regular contact with Operations Department in order to receive work orders and schedules.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Effectively communicates all aspects of assigned job duties. Maintains regular contact with Operations Department, terminals and vessel to avoid delays or conflicts.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Obtains, labels and transports samples to the laboratory in a timely manner as required by each specific job assignment.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Maintains assigned inspection equipment in good working order and ensures equipment is properly calibrated and stored.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Measures (gauge and temperature) material in shore tanks, performs all required field calculations, completes all required field documentation and submits reports to the Operations Department in a timely manner.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>6.0<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Fitness for Duty &ndash; Physical Demands</p><p>Workday may consist of 8-12 hours; however, this can vary day to day or shift to shift.
