    "description_html": "<p><strong>Summary/Objective</strong></p><p>The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operation of the various departments within the VanTran Business, such as Welding, Buffing, Core &amp; Coil Assembly, Winding, Lacing, Tanking, Testing, Paint – Primer, Paint – Final, Final Finish.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Daily On-Site Attendance.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct Daily Safety &amp; 5S Walk-Thru of factory to ensure compliance and cleanliness.</li><li>Ensure that the Processes for their respective departments are accurate.</li><li>Ensure that their Team Players who report into them are accurately filling-out all of the Transformer Inspection Reports on-time &amp; accurately.</li><li>Ensure continual quality improvement for each of their respective departments.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement in regards to 5S for each of their respective departments.</li><li>Coordinate job assignments and Cross Training between and within departments.</li><li>Establish, Maintain, and Lead 5S Programs for each of their respective departments.</li><li>Establish at least two (2) Key Performance Indicators for each of their respective departments with assistance from the Quality Manager &amp; the President &amp;/or the Manufacturing Mngr.</li><li>Create &amp; Maintain Visual Boards for each of their respective departments.</li><li>Establish, Maintain, and Lead Continuous Improvement Projects for each of their respective departments.</li><li>Work with Human Resources to establish and maintain a monthly training session regarding cross training, quality, safety, special projects, etc.</li><li>Ensure all Processes &amp; work instructions for their respective departments are updated.</li><li>Work w/ Engineering &amp; Quality Manager to solve any &amp; all quality issues.</li><li>Follow-up on and close any pending Preventive and Corrective Action requests that are applicable to their respective departments.</li><li>Consult with other Manufacturing Supervisors, as needed, to increase productivity in Manufacturing Department.</li><li>Review work orders/tickets for errors.</li><li>Verify Quality Control tests throughout respective Departments (TTR, Paint mil thickness, other tests as apply to specific Departments).</li><li>Manage time and attendance for Manufacturing Team.</li></ul>",
