This role will specifically oversee operations for this location&#39;s <b><i>evening shift (2nd shift)</i></b>. Reporting to the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), this role provides oversight to a wide range of pharmacy staff, ensures accurate prescription processing, and upholds the highest standards of patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence within the respective FuzeRx location.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><b>Team Oversight &amp; Shift Leadership:</b> Supervise pharmacy team members during assigned shifts to ensure operational efficiency, effective workflow management, and a positive working environment.</li><li><b>Prescription Processing &amp; Clinical Support:</b> Provide clinical judgment and verification support while monitoring prescription workflow to meet accuracy, turnaround time, and patient safety standards.</li><li><b>Regulatory &amp; Policy Compliance:</b> Ensure full compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies, escalating operational or clinical issues to the PIC or APIC when appropriate.</li><li><b>Operational &amp; Service Coordination:</b> Assist in coordinating daily pharmacy operations—including shift transitions and order fulfillment—to ensure continuity and timely processing.</li><li><b>Medication &amp; Inventory Management:</b> Support inventory control efforts and assist in resolving medication-related issues on the floor to maintain proper stock levels and minimize workflow disruptions.</li><li><b>Patient Safety &amp; Confidentiality:</b> Uphold strict confidentiality of patient information and reinforce practices that ensure safe, accurate, and compliant prescription processing.</li><li><b>Quality &amp; Performance Improvement:</b> Participate in identifying workflow improvements and contribute to initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and overall pharmacy performance.</li><li><b>Collaboration &amp; Leadership Presence:</b> Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support operational goals while fostering a collaborative, high-performing work environment.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Experience &amp; Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license (RPh or PharmD) in your state of residence.</li><li>License in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.</li><li>Minimum of<b> </b>2&#43; years of pharmacist experience, preferably in a high-volume or operations-driven environment.</li><li>Prior experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.</li><li>Strong communication, team leadership, and decision-making skills.</li><li>Highly organized, dependable, and able to perform under pressure.</li><li>Tech-savvy and open to innovation, workflow enhancements, and process improvements.</li></ul><h1><br /><br /><b>Additional Information</b><br /> </h1><p>Additional Physical Job Requirements</p><p></p><p>Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods, move frequently around the pharmacy, stoop, bend, reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions to operate a computer and other pharmacy equipment, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects up to 50 pounds.
