Martin/Martin is looking for an experienced civil senior project engineer to join our Denver, Colorado office. The position will provide opportunities for civil design throughout the Front Range of Colorado as well as nationally. A successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with strong technical, project management, and client communication skills. We are a client-focused and employee-centered firm. The Team Our civil engineering teams focus on site and infrastructure design, including leading projects such as the 16th Street Mall redesign in Denver. Responsibilities Assist in master planning and conceptual design. Assist in fee determination and proposal preparation. Assist with monitoring design budgets and project schedules. Serve as point-of-contact with Clients, Contractors and other design disciplines. Manage multiple engineering projects from start of design through completion of construction. Manage and mentor a team of civil engineers and CAD technicians. Utilizes AutoCAD/Civil3D to design, detail, and coordinate medium to large size projects within time allotments and within project budgets. Attend project meetings during design and construction. Provide quality-control check of work produced. Provide project construction administration support including shop drawing review, responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), and field observations. Monitor project budgets and reviews and/or approves invoicing to clients. Participate in collection and account receivable efforts. Works overtime, when necessary.
