    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Pictsweet Company is growing! We are currently seeking a Retail Merchandiser in the Alexandria, LA area. The Retail Merchandiser is responsible for performing merchandising activities for a specified number of stores, outlined geographic territory, or specific warehouse accounts. <strong>This role will include overnight travel three nights per week. </strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure products are correctly tagged/properly faced, organize product displays, and consistently maintain thoroughness in rotation of product.</li>\n <li>Perform resets, remove discolored or damaged product, and report concerns to Quality Assurance. Issue credits to customers where applicable.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively and build strong rapport with key store personnel while also building Pictsweet brand recognition and customer loyalty with consumers.</li>\n <li>Manage time effectively and prioritize route management.</li>\n <li>Handle other assignments and projects assigned by the Merchandiser Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent required – college degree preferred</li>\n <li>Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.</li>\n <li>Ability to independently plan and organize daily activities with significant experience in a deadline driven environment.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of business based computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite.</li>\n <li>Must maintain current and valid driver’s license and valid proof of current insurance.</li>\n <li>Must be willing to travel extensively</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Extensive standing, walking, reaching, stooping and lifting up to 30 pounds required.</li>\n <li>Environment that requires organizational skills and ability to manage stress.</li>\n <li>Flexibility in work schedule is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Pictsweet Company is an equal opportunity employer.
