You’ll cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and prepare and deliver proposals, design plans, project specifications,&nbsp; and presentations. You’ll also:</div><div><!--block-->&nbsp;</div><ul><li><!--block-->Oversee projects so they are successful.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Coordinate projects, resolving any scheduling, staffing or quality issues.</li><li><!--block-->Lead project teams, including staff and subconsultants, to deliver results.</li><li><!--block-->Project cost estimating.</li><li><!--block-->Supporting construction staff with field changes and clarifications.</li><li><!--block-->Assist with proposal development, scope definition, and budget planning.</li><li><!--block-->Coordinate permitting with regulatory agencies and navigate local/state requirements.</li><li><!--block-->Represent and support the team at board/council meetings (1-2/month, varies). &nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Provide invoicing explanations for billed items and follow up on accounts.</li><li><!--block-->Maintain client confidentiality and follow company standards for correspondence and documentation.</li><li><!--block-->Perform Root Cause Analysis for project write-offs and ensure quality control for assigned projects.</li><li><!--block-->Communicate technical concepts and ideas to clients and team members.</li><li><!--block-->Prioritize tasks and follow tight deadlines.</li><li><!--block-->Work across multiple disciplines to cross-market services.&nbsp;</li></ul><div><!--block--><strong>What it takes<br></strong>Ideally, you’ll have a bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of experience in municipal project management and have an active Illinois Professional Engineering license.
