          "text": "<p><strong>About the role</strong>:</p><p>The&#xa0;<strong>Sr. Software Development Engineer</strong>&#xa0;on the Duro Design team builds and ships product experiences that hardware engineers rely on every day. You’ll work across our modern stack—from frontend interfaces to backend architecture—to deliver elegant, performant, and scalable solutions. This role partners closely with product, design, and engineering teammates in a fast-moving, highly autonomous environment.</p><p>We’re looking for engineers who think end-to-end, embrace experimentation, and leverage modern AI-powered workflows to move with speed and precision. This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, CA (3 days per week in office).</p><p>A day in the life of our Sr. Software Development Engineer:</p><p><strong>Feature Ownership:</strong>&#xa0;Decompose product requirements into well-structured tasks and own delivery from concept through production release.</p><p><strong>Full Stack Development:</strong>&#xa0;Build across our stack (TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, React, Apollo GraphQL, PostgreSQL, AWS) to deliver scalable, high-quality software.</p><p><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</strong>&#xa0;Partner with product and design teams to translate user needs into thoughtful, intuitive, and performant experiences.</p><p><strong>End-to-End Thinking:</strong>&#xa0;Architect, implement, test, deploy, and measure features with a focus on long-term maintainability and system integrity.</p><p><strong>Experimentation &amp; Analytics:</strong>&#xa0;Instrument features using PostHog, run experiments, analyze real user data, and iterate based on measurable outcomes.</p><p><strong>AI-Driven Engineering:</strong>&#xa0;Leverage modern AI development workflows to increase velocity, structure context effectively, and deliver production-ready systems.</p><p><strong>Continuous Improvement:</strong>&#xa0;Identify opportunities to refine architecture, improve performance, and scale systems while maintaining engineering excellence</p>",

          "text": "<p>Who We’re Looking For</p><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><p>5–12 years of professional software engineering experience with a demonstrated track record of shipping production-grade products</p><p>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field</p><p>Strong foundation in TypeScript and React</p><p>Experience working with design systems such as Ant Design, Material UI, or similar</p><p>Backend experience with Node.js, NestJS, and GraphQL</p><p>Experience working with PostgreSQL and ORMs such as TypeORM or Prisma</p><p>Strong architectural thinking and ability to design scalable systems</p><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p><p>Comfort operating in autonomous, fast-paced environments</p><p>A product mindset with the ability to navigate the full feature lifecycle</p><p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p><p>Experience building PLM, PDM, or hardware/manufacturing industry software</p><p>Background with AWS infrastructure</p><p>Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform</p><p>Familiarity with event-driven systems (NATS, Redis, Kafka)</p><p>Testing experience using Vitest, Jest, or Playwright</p><p>Experience working in AI-augmented development environments<br>\n<br>\n<strong>How We Build</strong></p><p>We don’t hire coders.           "text": "<p>The expected annual pay range for this position is $164,000-$178,000. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities.
