Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial HVAC construction projects from pre-construction through project completion. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining strong communication with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills within the commercial HVAC construction environment.
Job Responsibilities
Manage all phases of commercial HVAC construction projects from kickoff through closeout
Oversee project schedules, budgets, manpower, materials, and overall project execution
Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and internal operations teams
Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and submittals to ensure project requirements are met
Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications
Manage project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, submittals, permits, schedules, and closeout documents
Track labor, equipment, and material costs to ensure profitability and budget adherence
Identify and resolve project issues, delays, and scope changes proactively
Support procurement activities and coordinate equipment and material deliveries
Work closely with field leadership to ensure successful installation and project execution
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and applicable mechanical codes

This position will report to the Branch Leader and is responsible for supporting the operations and project management team.
Qualifications
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
5+ years of experience managing commercial HVAC construction projects
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical construction practices, project sequencing, and construction documents
Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and multiple active projects simultaneously
Strong knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, and cost tracking
Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb stairs or ladders, and navigate active construction sites. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
